What is a bill of quantities?

A bill of quantities is a document that lists every item of work and material in a project with its quantity and rate. It is the most accurate way to price a build and compare quotes.

Can you check a quote from another builder?

Yes. Send us the quote and plans and we will review it for missing items, vague allowances and rates that look out of line.

Do I need plans for an estimate?

Plans give the most accurate result, but we can also give a budget estimate from sketches and a site visit.

Is the QS service only for your own builds?

No. You can use our QS service on its own, whoever ends up building.
